~Tawni & Steve~ Engagement

Tawni is my best friend from high school and we didn't even go to the same school, we were in the same grade level but went to rival high schools and I am exactly one week older than her. We met in the 10th grade, our sophomore year when we became the homecoming dates of two best friends, neither one of us was even driving yet. The guys thought it would be fun to get together and watch a movie and from the moment the three of them arrived at my house to pick me up we have been friends. It was instantaneous, a 'you had me at hello' kind of thing!

You cannot help but love Tawni, she is the sweetest most lovable person I know and would be and has been there for me whenever I need her. She recently asked me to be the maid-of-honor in her wedding and I happily accepted the honor! Tawni and Steve met years ago, I think she told me its been 14 of them now! They were engaged once before and broke things off and eventually realized they were meant to be together. I am super excited for the both of them and couldn't be happier for their upcoming nuptials.

This last weekend I was in Oregon near Portland where they live to co-host her bridal shower and bachelorette party. I of course had to take their engagement shots for them. I will be holding my honorable post during the wedding and therefore not their wedding photographer, but you can guarantee I will be putting up some smokin' pics from it. Like I wouldn't be taking pictures at their wedding, duh!! Here are my faves from their shoot. I hope you enjoy them like I do. I just absolutely love the first one! It might be my fave.

The pictures were taken in their yard which also happens to be the location of their wedding and the reception. All the old construction implements...a photographers dream. So many backdrops so little time! You can see even more of their photos on their blog Tawni and Steve.

~Calleigh~

Ben and Robin's precious bundle of joy is finally here and she is so sweet! We had to reschedule Calleigh's shoot a couple of times but here she is 2 months old and absolutley beautiful. There are a few pictures that were done just for Daddy, most specifially the picture of Calleigh and her 'rides' or as her tee-shirt says, 'stroller.' I just want to squeeze her!

The Wilsons

This is my sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew on the way. These pictures double as both the last of the family pictures of the Wilsons as a threesome and Kasi's maternity pictures. I'm not going to go into how much I love these guys 'cause I think its pretty much a given, so I won't go on and on about how much I love these photos cause even if they were wearing gunney sacks I'd still think they look great so I'll let you take a look and make your own decisions. Love you guys...can't wait to meet lil' baby Gage in about one more month!

Cheryl and Baby Johanna

I met Cheryl's husband Terry years ago when first moving back from my first round of college because he was a friend of my brother-in-law's. He used to ask me to sew his rank patches onto his Army uniforms and occassionally I would sew up holes in his jeans. I first met Cheryl when I returned a pair of his mended pants oh about a year or more after he had first asked me to fix them.

Terry is in the Army and is currently serving our great country in Iraq. He is scheduled to be there through August. It makes me sad for all 3 of them that he has missed the pregnancy, will miss his baby girl's birthday and won't get to meet her until late April when he has a few weeks of leave.

It was fun with Cheryl this afternoon, her photos are stunning, you can see just how excited she is in her face. Next time I see her I can't wait to meet lil' baby Johanna!

**Ben & Robin**

The wait is finally over! I've finished editing and getting posted the amazing photos from Ben and Robin's October wedding. I took so many shots that picking the ones to post was really difficult. The colors were beautiful not to mention the two getting married. Ben and Robin are two of the most genuine people I've ever met and I still feel honored that they asked me to be their photographer on their most special of days. Here within the next week they will be adding baby Calleigh to their family and I wanted to make sure that their wedding day was posted before the time comes to be posting the pics of that beautiful baby girl of theirs that is almost here.

I'm still thinking the shot of the day is Ben in his suit on dog do do patrol. The hazards of getting married in your parents' gorgeous backyard I guess...
