**Ben & Robin - Preview**

Ben and Robin's engagement session not only produced for me the stunning picture I use as my page header, but they provided me with the opportunity to photograph the most perfect, charming and welcoming wedding I've attended in quite some time. I have really been slacking in getting their pictures posted. There are just so many amazing ones so here is a few of my most favorite from their special day. Although it was a bit of a windy day it made for good movement in the photos and did not dampen the undeniable love that these two share for each other. More to come soon....

Demiter Family

Melissa has been a friend of mine since middle school. She's even one of the 3 other ladies I walked with at our high school graduation. Ok and she may be embarrassed that I posted this, but one of my funniest memories of her and I was burning Alyssa Milano pictures out of Bop magazine in the 8th grade. I don't know why we disliked her but I think it may be cause we were jealous of her cause now that we're quite a bit older I realize how pretty she is.

Melissa and Scott and their little boy Zak were a blast. Scott wasn't too thrilled at first to be having his picture taken, as I find with most men. So, I usually have my work cut out for me. It didn't take long for him to warm up though, although warming up really wasn't an option...it was COLD outside! Zak was a little shy at first but after a quick potty break he was ready to go and really became quite the ham. I even let him take a few pictures and for 3 years old he's pretty good. I'll post one, and you guess which one was his (*hint: its the last one) :)
Thanks guys, I had a blast with you and I hope you love your pictures like I do. I think they turned out great! I always struggle with my favorites cause I see one I like then oh, there's another one...and another.

Hatch Family

Last weekend I took family photos for the Hatch family. Kim has been a friend of mine since our elementary school days. She had been wanting to get some new family photos and asked me if I would do some for them. But of course! We took some at their house on their front porch then took a drive out to Dan's parent's farm. The fall colors and all the leaves made for some beautiful pictures. It doesn't hurt that Dylan and Chloe are so adorable! Thanks guys, it was a blast hanging out with you for a few hours.

Victor & Dominique - The Big Day!!!

As you'll notice, my post just prior to this one is of Scott & Angela. Anglea is Dominique's daughter and how I ended up taking photos for Victor & Dominique's wedding. She loved Angela's photos and asked me to do her's. This was my first official gig where I was THE photographer. I was excited, anxious and a bit nervous, overall I think their photos came out very well. Like with Angela & Scott's photos, so difficult to pick a favorite. The flower girl with those big brown eyes...wow, so pretty and so sweet. I think in the end however the picture of Dominique and Angela with those big blue eyes kinda sold me.

I had to post the picture of the guys in front of the strech hummer. Victor and Dominique own a luxury transportation company in Phoenix so that picture was important to Victor.

The wedding was in the exact same location as Scott and Angela's wedding McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, just a year later. Thank you to you both for choosing me to photograph your amazing wedding. I hope you will enjoy your photos for years to come!

Angela & Scott - The Big Day!!!

I met Angela while I lived in Phoenix. She is my friend Amanda's best friend. Believe it or not November and December are some of the most popular months down there for outdoor weddings because the weather is so perfect then. Scott and Angela's wedding was in early December. It was a little chilly as the sun went down but even the reception was held in an outdoor pavillion with heaters, it was a perfect day and beautiful wedding held at The McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale.

Angela hired a professional photographer and I just came on to do black and white photos for them. In the end the professional photographer passed away prior to getting her their proofs back and she waited for around a year to get them from his family. She was greatful for the pictures I took and in the end confessed that she was happier with them than the ones she paid big money for and had to wait so long to get.

I have a hard time picking a favorite from this shoot but I really love the one of the entire wedding party laughing at the ring bearer. He absolutley did not want to be in the picture and I snapped this one as he was running away. I LOVE all the faces, especially Angela's! I do adore the picture of her and her grandpa with the sun beams shining down on them. Lucky and beautiful shot! Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your special day.

Nicole & Erik - Engagement Session

When I first met Nicole she was still living in San Diego and she met up with Amanda and I at the Tempe Music Festival. Nicole and Amanda are childhood friends and Amanda is the friend who suggested I move to Phoenix when I was deciding where I wanted to move to go back to school. Nicole eventually moved back to Phoenix and we had some fun times. We were single together, until Erik came along. Erik a very nice yet somewhat shy guy at first wasn't too excited to be getting his picture taken. In the end he did say the process was virtually painless. Nicole and Erik are the sweetest couple and his proposal as romantic as they come with all of the rose petals and candles and a romantic dinner he prepared at his house. Look for wedding pictures soon, although Nicole did ask me to photograph their wedding, she gave me the choice of being a guest as well, and I decided to be a guest. But as most of you know, I can't go without my camera!

These pictures were taken in two settings. The 1st sitting being at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall and the 2nd setting, Nicole's choice of the Hyatt at Gainey Ranch. Beautiful pictures came from both locations. We even snuck in a few at the Mondrian Hotel that backs up against the Civic Center.
